This year, 2007, Southeast Louisiana
Council, along with most Scouts around the world, will celebrate
100 years of the Scouting movement through unit, district, and
council activities, events, recognition, and service.
Districts and Units are encouraged to plan their own, and
participate in, activities and events that will help keep
Worldwide Scouting’s 100th Birthday Celebration alive and well
in Southeast Louisiana Council.
To commemorate this once-in-a-lifetime event, SELA has designed
special “100th Birthday of Scouting” polo shirts and T-shirts. A
limited supply was made available at the July 28th Kick-Off
Celebration. Additional shirts / hats can be ordered by filling
out the order form.
